The Silver fern has been a symbol of New Zealand’s national identity as far back as the 1880’s and to Maori, the elegant shape of the fronds stands for strength, resistance and enduring power.
The Marlborough Region in the northeast of New Zealand’s South Island is renowned for producing world class Sauvignon Blanc. This bold example displays lifted aromas of freshly cut citrus, pineapple and honeysuckle. The palate is loaded with green apple, lychee, and passionfruit pulp. The finish is fine and long with a refreshing mineral character.
