Giyaman Midnight Blue Round Plate by Kaneko Kohyo Kiln
The Kaneko Kohyo kiln has provided quality tableware for one century since 1921 in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.
The Giyaman series is inspired by the traditional Japanese flower, chrysanthemum. The distinctive characteristic of Kaneko's Giyaman series is its transparent and shiny glaze, which looks just like glass despite being made of porcelain. With Kaneko's exquisite level of craftsmanship, whether for serving delicious food or using it as a decorative piece, the Giyaman series is bound to create conversation and impress your guests.
Giyaman porcelain became widely known during its use at a banquet in September 2012 at the Palace of Versailles in France, hosted by one of the world’s most famous Champagne brands, Don Perignon. VIP’s from around the world were invited to this “Dinner of the Century,” catered for by Chef Piege, one of the top chefs in Paris. The finishing dessert was presented on Giyaman tableware which Chef Piege selected as he commented, “I ordered additional sets for this diner party, as I cannot imagine my beloved desserts being served on anything but Giyaman.”
Due to the production techniques used to make the beautiful products, the glaze may appear different to what was advertised. Slight colour variations & glaze idiosyncrasies are expected, making each product indeed one of a kind. There could be some differences in the colour and weight of the products.

Return policy:
For shoppers to have a peace of mind, we offer a 7 days return policy accepts exchange/refund request if the goods are of unacceptable quality (i.e. faulty); are damaged during transit; don't match product description; or don't do what our description said they would do. If you receive a parcel from us that meet any of the above conditions, we are very sorry, please let us know and we will do whatever we could to put a smile on your face.
Change of mind:
As long as we haven't sent off your order yet, we can refund your order for change of mind. You will be refunded the transaction amount minus $2 handling fee. Please send us an email to check if we have sent off your order yet. We will do our best to help. If we have sent off your order, you have 7 days period to return the product, you will have to bear return postage with a tracking number. Once we have received the product in its original and re-sellable condition, then you will be refunded the transaction amount minus $2 handling fee.
Warranty policy:
Depends on the product that you have bought. Applicable warranty period will be indicated on the product description. However, if you have any question about warranty, please let us know and we will our best to put a smile on your face.
