Matson's Dual Battery Isolator VSR (Voltage Sensory Relay) allows two batteries to be charged at the same time and then isolates them from each other when the vehicle is turned off.

A simple isolator for dual battery systems giving you piece of mind that the 2nd battery will be charged and ready to go when needed.

Super compact and easy to install. Simply run a lead from the main battery to the positive terminal in the dual battery isolator then another lead from the other terminal to the second battery. Connect the earth lead to an adequate spot on the vehicle and bolt down the isolator unit and the job is done.

How It Works:

• The relay stays open, isolating the two batteries when the engine is first started, remaining open until the primary battery has reached a pre-set voltage of 13.3V.
• The relay then closes, allowing the two batteries to be charged together.
• When the engine is stopped, the voltage returns to normal levels allowing the relay to remain open again.
• This separates the two batteries and eliminates the possibility of discharging the primary/starting battery.
