The Nikka 12-year-old Premium Blend Whisky, for the full name, is a Japanese whisky blend with a part of Yoichi, for its peaty side, and another of Miyagikyo, for its delicate and fruity aromas. The 12-year-old Nikka enjoys a very wide range of aromatic properties. Fruity with notes of toffee and caramel.
Nose: Powerful and spicy, with notes of green pepper and red fruits. It evolves on caramel and nutmeg.
Palate: Rich and greedy on fruits like Granny Smith apple. In the background, one appreciates pastry notes, caramel and sweet spices.
Finish: Fresh, warm, rich, with subtle sweetness.
