With the weight of history on their shoulders and the immortal words of Jack Gibson ringing in their ears the Sharks put on a show for the ages and sent their polarising hooker Michael Ennis out in the best possible way. The wily hooker played his role to perfection, combining with James Maloney and Chad Townsend to provide the creative spark the Sharks had built their season on. Harold Holt might not be coming back but the porch lights were well and truly on in the Shire, after 50 long years of waiting the fairy-tale was finally complete!
