Safety Tips & Reminders

Allergy test: carry out an allergy test before the treatment. Apply a small amount of both lotions with a cotton bud to your elbow or behind your ear. Allow to dry and keep the area unwashed and uncovered for 24 hours. If your skin is irritated, do not use the product.
If the curve of the eyelashes is too strong, the selected lifting pad was too small or the application time is too long, select a larger lifting pad and repeat the process using half the application time.
If the curve of the eyelashes is too weak reasons could be: application time too short (with LashPerm or Neutralizer), the roller too large, or eyelashes not cleansed correctly.

Directions

1. Preparation

Remove contact lenses.
Then clean the eye area with RefectoCil Eye Make-Up Remover and degrease the eyelids and lashes with RefectoCil saline solution.
To make things easier, you could place RefectoCil silicone pads (available separately) over the bottom lashes to cover them. This ensures that you only secure the top lashes to the lifting pad later on.

2. Select Lifting Pad

The shorter the lashes and the more lifting effect the client wants, the smaller the pad size.
- S: strong lifting effect; especially for short lashes
- M: natural lifting effect; for normal lashes
- L: subtle lifting effect; for very long lashes

3. Position Lifting Pads

Apply sufficient glue to the back of the lifting pads - allow to dry for a short time.
Hold the eyelid taut with your fingers and position the lifting pad at the edge of the lid as close to the lash line as possible.

4. Secure Lashes

Apply some glue to the domed area of the lifting pads - allow to dry for a short time.
Secure the top lashes with the rosewood stick using a sweeping upwards motion.
Swipe the lashes evenly along the lifting pad, keeping them straight.

If some lashes are crossed, carefully release and re-secure them.
If lashes are stubborn or keep coming loose, apply some more RefectoCil Glue and re-secure the lashes.
When all lashes are stuck straight, open the eyes. You can then see if any of the bottom lashes are stuck.

5. Apply Lash Perm

Place a pea-sized amount of RefectoCil LashPerm 1 into the RefectoCil Cosmetics Bowl 1.
Using the RefectoCil Cosmetics Brush 1, apply a strip of RefectoCil LashPerm 1 to the middle of the lashes.
Allow to work for: 8 minutes. Afterwards, dab off the LashPerm 1 with a dry cotton bud.

6. Apply Neutralizer

Place a pea-sized amount of RefectoCil Neutralizer 2 in the RefectoCil Cosmetics Bowl 2.
Using the RefectoCil Cosmetics Brush 2, apply a strip of Neutraliser 2 to the same area where you applied LashPerm 1.
Allow to work for: 5 minutes. Afterwards, dab off the Neutraliser 2 with a dry cotton bud.

7. Colour Lashes

The lashes can now be dyed with RefectoCil Colourant on the lifting pads. It only takes 2 minutes to work!
Afterwards, remove the dye with a damp cotton pad. To avoid stains on the lifting pads: max. 2 minutes application time.
Rinse immediately afterwards.

8. Remove Lifting Pads

Wipe the pads several times with a damp cotton pad until the moisture dissolves the glue.
If needed, gently wipe up and down until the glue is completely removed.
Then hold the lid taut as you remove the lifting pads, starting from the outside.

Delivery Failures

In the event a consignment is returned to us because:

An incorrect address was provided by you
You failed to collect it from the Post Office or local depot where relevant
You were unavailable to sign for delivery
You refused the delivery
The courier could not access the property
You provided an Authority to Leave, but there was no clear safe location at the delivery point for the parcel to be left

A re-delivery fee will be calculated to your delivery address and required to be paid prior to re-dispatch.

In the event of a delivery failure as described above, where you then request a refund, we will deduct the original shipping cost already paid by The Beauty Domain to the delivery contractor from the amount you are refunded.

WARRANTY POLICY

All electrical products come with an Australian/New Zealand compliant plug (AS/NZS 3112) and a minimum of 12 months warranty. Please see each product page for specific warranty information.

RETURNS POLICY

We understand that you might need to return something to us for a number of reasons. Before any returns will be accepted or processed, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving the product before sending anything back. This is necessary to ensure the correct procedure is followed so the process is as quick and easy as possible.

Items must be returned to us via tracked postage or courier. Without a verifiable tracking number, you accept full risk of the item not reaching us. Returns not received by us will not qualify for replacement or refund.

1. You changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else or decided you don't like the product

We offer a 30 day return policy in these situations. That means if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return it to us up to 30 days after you received it for a refund only of the original purchase price, excluding original delivery costs, and less a $10 administration and restocking fee which covers original packaging costs including labour.
All returned items must be in brand new, unused condition, in their original shipped packaging, and include all parts and accessories. Except for faulty products, items which have been opened will not be accepted for return. Where returned items are not received by us in brand new condition, we will return them to you once you pay us the cost of redelivery to do so.
Return shipping costs are to be borne by you and are non-refundable.
Products sold as part of a promotion, products listed as non-returnable, and cosmetics, topical application or personal use products that have been opened but are not faulty are excluded from this change of mind return policy, and cannot be returned.

2. The item arrived damaged or missing something

All orders leave our warehouse in brand new undamaged condition. If your item arrives damaged or missing parts, we will gladly replace it for you (or if stocks are exhausted, refund you in full) and reimburse you for any return shipping costs you incur to return the item to us. Please send us a copy of the receipt for any shipping costs you incur.
All claims for damaged items must be made within a reasonable amount of time since receiving your order. It is important that you open your order as soon as you get it, and notify us immediately if there is any damage.
Please take photographs of any damage and contact us via your myDeal account before sending the item back, as we need to report damage to our insurer, delivery courier and warehouse.

3. The item is faulty

Should your product be faulty, please contact us promptly so we can guide you through the correct process for having the fault rectified under the manufacturer warranty. Depending on the manufacturer’s warranty terms and requirements, we will either repair or replace it for you (or if stocks are exhausted, refund you).
To return a faulty product, you will need to pay for postage to return it to us in the first instance. We strongly recommend that you use a tracked service. If we don't receive the product for any reason, we won't be able to assist you further. Please make sure you get a receipt and keep it handy. Once we have received the product, and confirmed it is faulty, we will reimburse you for what it cost you to return it to us, based on your receipt (or if you've lost the receipt, the face value of postage shown on the parcel if it's been returned via Australia Post).
Where a returned product is found not to be faulty, a redelivery fee will be calculated to your delivery address and required to be paid prior to sending it back to you. If we agree on a refund instead of redelivering a non-faulty product, we may deduct postage charges already paid by Hair & Beauty Co to the delivery contractor from the amount you are refunded.
