The Papa Bear chair attained its name after a critic referred to its armrests as 'great bear paws embracing you from behind'. This chair with its generous backrest and extended arms is a classic creation by the Danish maestro Hans Wegner. Don't be fooled by the name, this graceful design provides supreme comfort for all. At Replica we have created a wonderful reproduction of this classic 1951 design, with fastidious attention to the detail. The frame is constructed of solid beech wood with a light walnut stain with a pure wool cover, as per the original design. The soft comfortable multi-density foam and thick wool cover are carefully hand stitched over the frame. The generous full curve on the back of the chair and stout wooden legs, ensures this designer lounge chair looks charming from any angle. Warranty Policy

Replica Furniture provides a 12-month warranty for all our products. The warranty applies to normal domestic use only. The warranty provides for the repair or replacement of a product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of commercial use, normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used. This warranty does not apply to goods that have been altered by the user in any way.

Returns Policy

We can accept returns of most items within seven (7) days for a full refund of the purchase price of the product. However, please note that courier charges are non-refundable. The item(s) must be returned in the original packaging, unassembled and in unused/unmarked condition. Please note that floor stock, showroom clearance stock and special-order items cannot be returned if you change your mind.
