Change of Mind Returns

We want you to love your purchase! If you're not completely satisfied, we're here to help.

Most products come with a 30-day change of mind policy. If you wish to return your order within 30 days from the purchase date, please contact us via your Account for return approval. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will facilitate an agreed resolution.

Important Notes:

  • Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility.

  • The product must not have been installed.

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging, including all accessories.

  • We do not accept responsibility for return items until they reach our warehouse. We strongly recommend using tracked and/or insured postage.

  • Fees may apply depending on the condition of the returned item.


Warranty Claims

Conditions of Warranty:

  • Installation must be performed by a qualified and licensed electrician, except for DIY (do-it-yourself) products.

  • Proof of qualified installation (e.g., Electrical Safety Certificate) is required to claim a warranty.

  • Warranty is void if the product is installed by anyone other than a licensed electrician (except for DIY products).

  • Any unauthorised repair or modification will void the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • The warranty does not cover issues due to incorrect installation, normal wear and tear, misuse, or power surges.

Types of Warranty:

1. Replacement Warranty

If your product is found to be faulty within the replacement warranty period, you are entitled to a replacement.

Please note:

  • Installation and return postage costs are not covered under the replacement warranty.

  • JD Lighting will cover outbound postage costs for the replacement item.

Ensure you have received a Return Authorisation before sending your item back, as unauthorised returns will be rejected.

2. In-Home Warranty

For products covered under an in-home warranty, the manufacturer will arrange for a service agent to diagnose, repair, or replace the faulty product.

Please note:

  • The manufacturer covers the costs associated with repair or replacement.

  • If the issue arises due to incorrect installation, you will be responsible for any service or repair costs.
