This is a Food Grade Silicon Seal and is very easy to install. When installing the silicon Seal with the tap please make sure the tap is tightly screwed and connected well before using to prevent leaking. 

Test out the seal of the jar and that the Tap is tightly screwed and connected by adding some water into the jar and seeing if it leaks before adding Kombucha to ensure that your batch doesn't leak and waste your amazing tasting Kombucha.
