We placed the lamp just outside the kitchen to move the bugs away from the kitchen lights. It works well, it doesn't get all the bugs but at least 90% are no longer in the kitchen around the down lights which makes us very happy. A small downfall is there is no cage to catch the dead bugs but at least we can see the evidence that it's working. I have already recommended this to a family member.
