The Victron Blue Smart IP22 Charger is the wireless solution to monitor voltage and current, to change settings and to update the charger when new features become available.

High Efficiency

With up to 94% efficiency, these chargers generate up to four times less heat when compared to the industry standard. And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption reduces to 0,5 Watt, some five to ten times better than the industry standard.

Adaptive 6-stage charge algorithm

test - bulk - absorption - recondition - float - storage. The Blue Smart Charger features a microprocessor controlled 'adaptive' battery management. The adaptive feature will automatically optimize the charging process relative to the way the battery is being used.

Storage Mode

Less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use. The storage mode kicks in whenever the battery has not been subjected to discharge during 24 hours. In the storage mode, float voltage is reduced to 2,2V/cell (13,2V for a 12V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to 'equalize' the battery. This feature prevents stratification of the electrolyte and sulfation, a major cause of early battery failure.

Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries
LiFePO4 batteries are charged with a simple bulk - absorption - float algorithm.


NIGHT and LOW setting

When in NIGHT or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to max. 25% of the nominal output and the charger will be totally noiseless. The NIGHT mode automatically ends after 8 hours. The LOW mode can be ended manually.

Protected against overheating

Output current will reduce as temperature increases up to 50°C, but the Blue Smart Charger will not fail.

All our battery packs are comprised of premium prismatic cells & are backed with LiFePO4's signature built-in BMS. They are also tested to deliver 100% real capacity and are suitable for parallel and series wiring of up to 6 battery packs.

IMPORTANT: While our LiFePO4 batteries are top-notch & can be wired with other batteries of its kind, it is not advisable to connect any LiFePO4 batteries in parallel or series. This poses several risks and should only be done in emergency situations. If you must wire batteries together, make sure you are familiar with the correct procedure or seek help from a professional if needed.

Batteries connected in series should have the same amp-hour rating while batteries in parallel bank should have the same voltage rating.
As much as possible, only connect batteries in series or parallel during emergency situations.
It's better to go for batteries with higher voltage when running high-power electrical appliances instead of wiring two battery packs together.
We have available batteries with larger discharge parameters for fast charge/discharge requirements.
Our batteries are also available in 200Ah and 300Ah for larger capacity demands.

The warranty is considered void if the item has been modified, altered or tampered with by a person (or persons) not authorised by us to provide service (not including standard periodic maintenance).

We do our best to package the products to avoid mishandled or damaged in transit. However, should your item not function on arrival you are entitled to return the product to us for a full refund, repair, or replacement at your request.
