Creator Martin Handford created this back in the 1980s in hope too envisage a world traveller and time travel aficionado who always dresses in red and white which he is best known for today.
The trademarked series was sold in 28 different countries which grew Handford’s status to becoming a minor celebrity, landing him a number of diverse products like notebooks; posters; pillows; video games and many others. The Where’s Wally brand expanded into a comic book series which then developed into an animated TV Series. It is said that a single two-page spread of the books can take Handford up to eight weeks to complete, drawing 300 to 500 characters including Wally.
