Adjustable Height Hair Dryer Stand 180 Degree Rotatable Hands Free Blow Dryer Holder Phone Holder

I purchased this to help me blowdry my hair without wearing out my arms holding it. However, it arrived without any 'plug' for the base that you're supposed to put water into. So I'm not going to put water into the base where I have an electrical item poised above it. So I have to figure out how else to weight it down in the base so that it stays put and doesn't fall over. I have tried using it holding it still with my feet, that worked a bit (and my core muscles). It did help a bit in blowdrying my hair,but it was hard to move the brush down the hair because I had to move my head instead of the hairdryer. I am sure I will get a better rhythm with practice. It is not very tall, can only be used sitting down in a chair, or on a table top, not standing up (unless you are a very short person then it would be ok). The round hole for the hairdryer to sit in doesn't fit my dryer either, I have a $300 hairdryer but it didn't have any flexible inside rubber or silicone that adjusts firmly for larger ones, so it was a very massive balancing act. I ended up having to thread the cord through the rubber spiked bits inside and place the hairdryer into it that way, which was very annoying because then when I want to grab the hairdryer out quickly and easily I can't, I have to carefully thread the cord out again after unplugging it, so I have to turn it off etc. Painful to use for my hairdryer, but considering I have a top popular brand I would have though it would be suitable. It would fit well with a thinner nozzle hairdryer. I am going to try using the phone holder part when having a bath this evening, hopefully that works then I might get some use out of it, once I fix the unplugged base that needs some kind of filler that is not water (no one would put water on their carpet or mats and let it sit there permanently).
