Aqua One Fine Wool Filter Pads will serve as a mechanical filter, essential to the health of your aquarium. It is made of high-grade synthetic wool, water that passes through the pad will be cleaned of most micro-particles.
Aqua One Fine Filter Sponges will serve as a mechanical and biological filter, essential to the health of vour aquarium. It is made of high grade pored foam, water that passes through the pad will be cleaned of most fine particles.
Aqua One Coarse Filter Sponges will serve as a mechanical and biological filter, essential to the health of your aquarium. It is made of high grade pored foam, water that passes through the pad will be cleaned of most larger particles
Fine Wool Filter Pads are disposable. The Fine Wool Filter Pad should be replaced whenever you service the filter.
The more frequently you replace the wool pads, the more likely you are to enjoy a crystal clear aquarium.
Your Coarse Filter Pad should only be rinsed in aquarium water in order to maintain biological health. Remove abucket of water from your aquarium, and rinse your filter pad thoroughly.
Tip: Pressurised canister filters should be cleaned less often than most other filters. The filter media, such as filter pads and ceramic substrate should only be washed in aquarium water, and be returned to the filter as soon as possible. This will ensure the bacteria in your filter is not "cleaned out", and your aquarium remains biologically healthy.
