It's good to use when you have a little bit of stuff to clean up you don't have to use the vaccum just use the carpet sweeper so easy to use

Best 'vaccume I've ever bought,no cords,no need to recharge,easy storage and easy to clean and empty... cleans carpet quickly and quietly. Old technology is sometimes the best.
