How to Grow Garlic:

Spacing Your Garlic: Begin by spacing your cloves around 15cm apart. Ensure the sharp end, or the "pointy tip," faces upwards. This positioning encourages straight growth.
Depth Matters: Gently plant each clove about 25mm beneath the soil's surface. This depth provides enough coverage without burying the cloves too deep.
Feeding Your Garlic: Avoid heavy feeding at the start. After growing your garlic for six weeks, it's time for a little boost. Apply a light spray of liquid fertilizer once a month. Remember, a little goes a long way!
Watering Tips: Garlic prefers moist soil but despises waterlogged conditions. Ensure your garden bed allows for good drainage and avoid overwatering.
Ideal Locations: For those living in New South Wales, Victoria, or South Australia, you're in luck! These regions offer the perfect climate for growing robust garlic.
Storing Your Harvest: Once your garlic is harvested, it needs a proper storage spot. Please keep it in a cool, well-ventilated space, away from the harsh rays of direct sunlight. Proper storage can keep your garlic fresh for 5 to 6 months.

Orders will be dispatched within 1-2 Business days, excluding weekends & public holidays.

Estimated time of delivery: 3-8 Business days

WA order dispatch: Once a week. WA-based customers' orders will go through the Quarantine WA inspection at the WA border.

Return & Refund Policy

At Happy Valley Seeds, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. If you're ever unsatisfied for any reason, please don't hesitate to reach out and let us know - we'd be more than happy to provide an exchange or refund according to these conditions:

To be eligible for a return, your item must remain unused and in the same condition at which you received it. Additionally, it should retain its original packaging.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept exchanges or refunds on perishable items unless they are damaged.

For optimal satisfaction, you can return or exchange your purchase within 30 days of receiving it.

If you need to cancel an order you haven't picked up within 2 weeks after first delivery attempt, we'll need to charge a 20% restocking fee based on the seed value. Once we receive your mail order back, we will process the refund, minus the 20% restocking fees. Unfortunately, we won't be able to refund the postage, though.

If the buyer wants to change his/her mind, then the cost of returning the order will be covered by the buyer.

At Happy Valley Seeds, we are more than happy to cover the cost of return shipping for any damaged goods.
