All Mesh Heads Made by REMO
NUX co-operates with REMO to equip DM-8 with all REMO mesh heads. No matter strike feedback or touching, DM-8 can provide you with the perfect drumming experience. The mesh head has been tested for more than 1 million strokes and is thus very durable. Two trigger zones are at the head and at the rim. The tone changes depending on where and how hard you strike, ensuring the most realistic playing feel.
An Expressive Hi-Hat
The hi-hat is mounted on its own hat stand, providing a more realistic feel as opposed to a fixed pad. Mounted onto a motion sensor unit, the hat can be easily adjusted to your playing style, including Open/Closed and Half Open hats.
A 12" Independent Snare Drum
The DM-8 snare pad authentically emulates the behaviours of a real acoustic snare drum with its rim and shell design. The triple zone enables you to play convincing rim shots and cross sticks while adapting to the needs of most playing situations from rock to funk to latin and the cross stick is great for ballads or bossa nova, The snare uses the latest three point trigger technology, which makes the sound of each position on the drumhead more balanced. Also included is a very stable independent snare stand for the best performance.
A New 10" Kick
The newly designed 10-inch independent kick drum can fully support a double bass pedal. The new kick pedal features a double chainstay and a thicker soleplate. The double chain design makes the beater swing more stable, while the thickened base plate keeps the entire pedal from moving freely.
Group Fader
The new DM-8 sound module is loaded with innovation and eye-catching features, including the Group Faders, which assigns audio levels to each individual pad. Create your own custom drum mixes easily!
Also included are 30 sets of high-fidelity drum kits with different styles. No matter the drum style, you can get the sounds you want from it. Intuitive and powerful sound customization features allow users to freely edit their own drum kits. You can assign any sound to the rim or head

USB Audio I/O
The DM-8 module is also an audio interface, with the ability to send stereo audio and MIDI data to a Mac or Windows computer via USB. This lets you record discrete audio and MIDI drum tracks in any DAW, or trigger sounds from software based drum instruments for studio or live playing.
Want to record more than a stereo pair? No problem. You can record up to 14 separate audio tracks into your favorite DAW.
Import Your Samples
The DM-8 enables you to import your own WAV samples via a USB Flash Drive. Now you can build your dream kit with your favorite samples and assign to any pad to play. Think of the possibilities!
Effects
Want to customize your drum sounds even further? The DM-8 includes a selection of high-quality of effects that can be applied to each pad. Simply navigate to the EFFECT menu and select your effect. Add EQ, Compression, Overdrive, or Reverb to the individual pads, or add a Master Compression and/or EQ to your overall mix
Jamming and Recording
Jam Away! The DM-8 has a great selection of built in songs that you can jam along with, including a dynamic variety of musical styles for every type of drummer.
Practice makes perfect! Record your solo drum performances onto a USB memory stick or upload your favorite backing track, play along with it, and save it as a WAV file to analyze your playing by hearing the entire mix play back.
And finally, an AUX IN port is provided to hard connect your preferred your playback device and create a solid mix between your backing tracks and your playing.

If you purchase does not suit your needs and it is within 30 days of delivery to you, we are happy to provide an exchange to a more suitable product of equal or greater value, provided you pay the difference.
If you have received your order with a defect or your product develops a fault within the first 30 days of delivery/collection to/by you, the first step is to contact us.
Provided the unit is deemed as a fault that is not the cause of misuse, neglect, damage, tampering with internal components or using products outside of their designated applications, Muzic Man Aus may simply exchange your unit for a new unit provided stock is available.
Please note: The 30 day replacement guarantee does not apply to customers who do not contact us within 30 days of delivery/collection. If you contact us after this period, we will offer you a remedy in accordance with your products warranty and your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
If your product is defective and outside of the first 30 days from delivery, your item is still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty and will need to be returned to us for service and repair. Please see further down for information on returning your product.
Muzic Man Aus reserves the right to assess all warranty returns, including returning the product to the manufacturers repair agent to determine the nature or cause of the problem.

If you wish to make a claim under warranty, you will need to complete a Returns Authorisation Form. This will allow us to provide warranty support in a timely manner.
Please ensure you include a copy of the returns authorisation form and your original invoice with the returning product.
When we receive your item back, our returns team will sort your item and forward to the appropriate service agent for inspection and repair. Once our returns team has been updated by the service agent, they will contact you with an update on the status of your repair and provide an ETA as to when the issue will be resolved.
Estimated service times will vary between service agents. Generally, defective products that are returned to their appropriate service agent can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks to be resolved. Please note that these times are an estimate and the process can run outside of the given time frame.
Customers may return their item, please understand that there will naturally be a longer transit time as the item will need to be returned.Our staff will endeavour to get you back on the road again as soon as possible and will explore any alternate options which may assist in fastening the process.
Once your item has been repaired it will be returned for collection, or, if you returned to us via post, it will be shipped back to you.
As mentioned briefly above, please note that warranties only apply to manufacturing defects. Issues found to be the cause of misuse, neglect, damage, tampering with internal components or using products outside of their designated applications may render the warranty void.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (10 to 14 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
