Bedding House is proud to be the official partner of the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam. The unique collaboration between the Van Gogh Museum and Bedding House results in a very special bed textile collection. Each design is inspired by one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings.
This season, the inspiration for the products comes from when Vincent was inspired by Oriental art. Japanese printmaking was one of Vincent's biggest sources of inspiration.
The design is based on the painting "Flowering plum orchard". Vincent had many Japanese prints in his collection, speaking of "hundreds" in his letters. He practised the use of colour and style of Japanese artists by making paintings after these prints. Vincent chose Utagawa Hiroshige's "The Plum Tree Tea House in Kameido" for his first copy. He literally copied the composition, but he applied the colours much more strongly. He swapped the black and grey of the tree trunk for shades of red and blue. He additionally added two orange decorative borders with Japanese characters for an exotic effect.
In this design, the blossom branches from the painting are beautifully highlighted and made into an all-over pattern. The background is off-white and subtly shows Vincent's solid brushstrokes. The quilt cover has a uni-dyed off-white reverse.
Made from 100% Cotton with a Sateen weave.
Care Instructions: Wash up to 60 degrees, Suitable for tumble drying, iron reverse side on low heat. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean.

RETURNS POLICY
We are happy to accept exchange or refund within 30 days of receipt of goods.
Please note for all "change of mind" returns, your item must be returned to our warehouse in original packaging. You will be responsible for the shipping cost in returning the product. To ensure safe delivery, we recommend that you use the option of tracking your parcel. Your refund will only be processed once your item has been received.
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept exchange for used bedding items.
Every order is inspected by our QA Department before it leaves our Warehouse, this is to ensure you receive your product in good condition.
If your product for some reason has become faulty due to a manufacturing fault, then you need to contact us immediately. If there is a manufacture fault or the goods are damaged, we will refund at the purchase price & offer a return label.
All unwanted items must be returned in their original condition. This means all packaging and labels must be attached. Failure to comply by this will result on the goods being returned to you and no refund will be provided.
Please allow up to 14 days for exchanges and refunds to be received and processed. Postage charges on returns are not refundable.
Steps for Exchange:
Place and pay for a new order on the website to secure the size/items you are exchanging. This way you are guaranteed to get the item before it gets sold and we can ship it out to you immediately.
Send back the items you are exchanging with the exchange/return form filling it in with the RA number provided.
When we receive your returned items, we will inspect them and process a refund accordingly.
NOTE: Any items returned without prior communication will NOT be accepted
