Fleroux puzzles are known for their versatile, beautifully drawn images of cities where all sorts of things happen. In the puzzles you keep seeing Bob and Nancy, two American tourists who want to see something of the world. Only, every time they arrive at a beautiful destination, something unfortunate awaits them. What will happen to her in Utrecht? You won't see that until you've figured it out!
The old city of Utrecht has existed for 900 years, which is reason enough to wave the flags on the Dom tower in a festive way. But oh well a sudden gust of wind sends the flags whirling down and the flying saucer of the Inkwell building is also taken away. A frightened fisherman waves his catch against the head of the helmsman of the Bierboot, the smart supply ship of the Port Authority. It then collides with the historical replica of the Roman ship that once visited Utrecht centuries ago. And not only the Romans, but also the visitors of the typical Utrecht wharf terrace at the Stadhuisbrug have to pay for it! Fortunately, a number of famous Utrecht residents (who recognises them?) are not deterred by all this cartoonish violence. But what is hanging over our regular tourists Bob and Nancy? You won't see that until you've completed the puzzle!
