Red Back Spider

The redback spider, also known as the Australian black widow, is a species of highly venomous spider that live in Australia.
Redbacks tend to stay in the same spot most of their adult lives. They're reluctant biters but will do so if threatened. Unfortunately, their tendency to hide in wheely bin handles and (notoriously) under toilet seats means this happens reasonably often when humans unknowingly invade their space.

This little guy may look scary but he is just a big softy on the inside.
