The New Manhood : The 20th anniversary edition

The New Manhood by Australia's world renowned family activist Steve Biddulph is the most influential book written for generations on the lives of men.

For 20 years Steve Biddulph's groundbreaking Manhood and the revised edition, The New Manhood, have had a remarkable impact around the world. Thousands of men have reconciled with their fathers, become closer to their children, improved their marriages or made sweeping changes to their lives. Women love the book for giving them a deeper understanding of their husbands and sons. Steve explores the elements of a man's life that often cause unhappiness, emptiness or frustration. Love, sex, marriage, raising children, friendship, spirituality and finding your true work are amongst many subjects dealt with in an honest and uplifting way. This is a handbook for men of all ages, and for the women who love them.

'I wish Steve Biddulph had been my dad.' - Sam de Brito, author of The Lost Boys and Hello Darkness

'This book is, obviously, about men and being a man. But it also has a broader resonance and significance. Through his insights into manhood today, Steve also reveals important truths about our culture and our world, and how they shape, for better or worse, who we are and what we become - young and old, men and women.' - Richard Eckersley, researcher and writer on progress and wellbeing, author of Well & Good: Morality, Meaning and Happiness

'This landmark work is for those who truly want to understand and nurture the men and boys in their lives, and for men who want to better comprehend the nuances of their own and each other's lives.' - Maggie Hamilton, writer, social researcher, publisher and author of many books including What Men Don't Talk About

'The world needs New Men... Steve Biddulph is a trustworthy guide for the journey and this is a book for every man.' - - Noel Giblett, Individual and Relationship Counsellor, Perth, Western Australia.
