But don't be fooled into thinking this griddle is just for pancakes though - you can also use your griddle in place of a frypan for even cooking of meats, fish, eggs, bacon, or in the oven for perfectly crisped pizza. The beauty of cast iron lies in its ability to retain heat, so once the pan is hot, it will stay hot, which means even cooking and browning and reduced cooking times. The seasoned cast iron creates a non-stick surface which improves over time the more you use it.

Cleaning and care Handwash with hot water and salt or mild soap then wipe with a towel to dry thoroughly.
Rub the grill with a light coat of oil (flaxseed, coconut or canola).
Place in the oven and heat up until lightly smoking. Turn off the heat then carefully use a paper towel to wipe off excess oil.
Once completely cool, store in a cool, dry place.
