If you're looking for a new mic lead, look no further! I bought a cheap phantom powered podcast mic setup on Amazon, and on second use, the USB interface from the Amazon kit broke. I paid to have it re-soldered and it broke again. So then I found this cable on MyDeal, and figured for $13 it was worth a try with my Amazon podcast mic. Well worth it! Not only has it given me no issues, the sound quality is much better than from the Amazon lead and interface.
