This is an unusual culinary herb / vegetable, similar to the Japanese variety it can be eaten like spinach or added as a garnish to many dishes. When young and tender it has a crisp salty flavour. Excellent for pots. Does very well in warm weather and has good tolerance for salinity / coastal regions. Note seed for this variety is naturally low, expect approx 50% germination at best.
