We pay homage to one of Australiaa(TM)s most impressive quilt stories of the past 12 months. Mariya Watersa(TM) quilt Floral Symphony No 2 was almost not a quilt a" until Mariya rescued it and remade it, and entered it into numerous quilt shows a" both in Australia and overseas. At the last quilt show it was entered into, it was awarded a a~purchase prizea(TM), and the quilt show organisers gifted the quilt to the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, USA. Well done Mariya, quite the accolade for your wonderful quilt.A
We explore the quilting journey of the 2023 Rajah Award winner, Jen Kingwell, and look at some of her glorious quilts.
