The LeverPresso Filter basket holds 19g of coffee, with a 51cm internal diameter. It is made to be compatible with the LeverPresso Espresso Maker. With two options of filter baskets available, you can choose to go with a Pressurised Basket (single hole) or a Non-Pressurised Basket.
A sturdy, portable espresso brewing device, the LeverPresso uses steel double-sided arms to generate up to 9 bars of pressure and remains steady throughout the brewing cycle. A simple to load separate filter basket holds 19g of espresso ground coffee and attaches to the main body with increased air-lock so no pressure is lost during the brewing.Â
In using the Pressurised Filter, one small hole at the bottom of the basket has been designed to be able to brew at the high pressures required from espresso without necessarily needing a grinder capable of grinding espresso fine coffee. The small hole impacts the flow of coffee out and increases the back-pressure whilst brewing.Â
A Non-Pressurised Basket is the standard basket that comes with the Leverpresso. It is stamped with plenty of tiny holes across the full surface at the bottom of the filter. This provides no back-pressure when brewing and the brewer is reliant on having a finely ground coffee to extract a smooth crema-topped espresso. Having a second basket could easily speed up the time between two shots and have one brewing whilst you prepare the other in advance.

The item is returned within 14 days from the date of your order.
Presents 'as new' in appearance, is unused and shows no signs of use, wear and tear or damage. We cannot accept a return for items that have been used.
Be packaged in its original undamaged packaging with all product tickets and tags.
The item's original packaging is not marked or used as the outer layer of packaging for transport. Please ensure you do not attach anything to the outside of the original packaging.
Alternative Brewing is not responsible for any freight charges on returned items unless the item(s) being returned have arrived damaged or faulty in which case we will send a pre-paid return label to send the item back.
Items being returned must include a copy of the receipt/invoice for the order.
We do not accept returns on any machines, electrical parts, special order items, gift cards, apparel, books, posters and DVDs. So please choose wisely.
Items returned with a value >$400 will be eligible for a store credit or exchange only.
All returns must be authorised by Alternative Brewing before sending the item back to us. Please contact one of our friendly Alternative Brewing Team Members for instructions to get the ball rolling and start the return process.Â
