How to choose the right size for the beginners

The size of the hoop determines twirling speed. When a hoop is smaller (even though lighter), you need more stamina to keep the hoop rotating around your torso. Based on feedback from thousands of clients, the optimal starting weight for most people or beginners is between 1kg and 1.5kg. This weight is ideal to practice regularly for longer time periods to gain both aerobic and core strength benefits. When you are comfortable with the weight and size, reduce ONE part of the hoop to make the hoop smaller. The twirling speed will be faster. You will need to strength to keep the hoop twirling. Your heartbeat rate will increase significantly, hence will burn more fats.
