The charger can be plugged into a solar setup up with anderson plug to charge Makita 18 Volt, 3.0Ah - 6.0Ah Lithium-Ion cordless batteries.
Featuring optimal charging technology the charger uses 3 Active Controls (thermal, voltage, and current) to maximize the effectiveness of the charge and extend the battery's life.
The charger recognises battery's history and analyzes battery condition to determine optimal charging method Advanced CPU communicates with individual battery's memory chip and a built-in fan cools the battery during charging to maximize the life of the battery.

Charging process:

Below 80%, red light turns on.
The power is charged above 80% but below 100%, both the Red and Green LED lights turn on.
When charged fully, the green light is only on.
